SOUTHSIDE SQUARE,

BERKELEY CA.

The contextual design of this 14,000 sq. ft. commercial structure recalls selected earlier buildings of Berkeley’s downtown. The office portion features fourteen-foot cathedral ceilings as well as lofty executive towers. The project was the recipient of the 1993 Housing Award for Best Live/Work Space from the Berkeley Design Advocates (BDA). In addition, the Berkeley Architectural Heritage Association (BAHA) issued a Certificate of Recognition.
